8 strand solid braid. Exceptional softness, suppleness, and kink and hockle resistance with the same high strength, elongation, elasticity and capacity for shock load absorption as 3 strand nylon.
8 strands plaited around a parallel core. Less stretch than braided nylon. Grips winches more firmly than 3 strand ropes. Used for spinnaker sheets, control lines, downhauls, reefing lines, outhauls, furling systems, runners, topping lifts. 8mm x 100metres. Also available Spun Polyester Yacht Rope; 8 strand braided jacket on an 8 strand braided core. Pink.
Hollow plaited blue and white HMDPE. 12 mono-filament strands plaited one over one. Used for ski tow rope, load securing, handicrafts, and camping, among other applications.
Polyester Core: Supple and soft on the hands. 8 strands plaited on a polyester core for extra strength and roundness. Can be dyed. Used for awnings, halyards, harnesses, halters. 8mm. Cotton Core: 12 strands plaited on a parallel core. Hard smooth, polished finish. Can be dyed. Used for window sashes, awnings.
8 multi-filament strands plaited around a parallel core. Exceptionally soft and supple, yet highest tensile strength, elongation, elasticity and shock load absorption of all synthetic fibres. Used for halyards, winch rope, flag cord, starter cord.
