Venhart Coloured Butcher’s Twine comes in red/white and blue/white combinations and is food safe. Used broadly in the meat processing industry for its distinctive colour that allows easy identification. It has a high melting point and easy to knot. It is specially designed to avoid fraying when cut.
Comes in 560m lengths, or 425g/spool with a tensile strength of 40kgf. Butchers twine is also used widely in the arts and crafts industry and is made from polished polyester.
Available in packs of 6 spools, 560m/sp
Blue/white or red/white available – 2 strands white/1 strand coloured
This polyester butcher's twine is an officially approved twine for use in export grade meat products. It is a lightweight twine that knots well, and is coated with bindacoat to smooth fibres and resist any fraying when cut. It features a high melting point and high breaking load. Available in 1800 Tex (tensile strength 100kgf) & 2475 Tex (tensile strength 120kgf) in white.Twine is drawn from the centre for easy, tangle-free dispensing.
Finer twines of 660tex available in red and white, or blue and white, which allows for easy identification
